About the Programs

Arts & Cultural Organizing Facilitator Program

Ujima’s Micro-Learning Pods are member-focused art spaces centered around a central theme, facilitated by an Ujima community member. Each pod consists of at least three sessions, engaging participants in deep discussion, creative exploration, and cultural learning. We're looking for new facilitators to lead a 3-month hands-on arts workshop series for our member team. Facilitators will recieve a $1,000 honorarium plus materials support for their workshop series. For more information about the call, click here.

Arts & Cultural Organizing Fellowship Program

The Arts and Cultural Organizing Fellowship will be awarded to a member of Ujima’s Arts and Cultural Organizing community who demonstrates a commitment to their artistic practice and a commitment to the principles of Ujima. The Ujima Arts & Cultural Organizing Fellow will spend two years in an emergent, self-determined program tailored to the needs and interests of the fellow. The fellow will receive $25,000 in support over the two-year period. For more information, click here.
